SC-CAMLR-40 will take place from 11 to 15 October 2021 online using Interprefy with captions and interpretation. The meeting times will be 21:00–01:40 UTC with a 40-minute break from 23:00 UTC. The preliminary schedule is given below.

Note that to make the meeting easier to follow due to its virtual format, it is proposed to simplify the sequence that items are taken as shown. In order that the report may be prepared in all languages prior to adoption, only a few items will be addressed on Thursday 14 October and the Committee will halt its meeting at 23:00 UTC on that day.

The Scientific Committee will prioritise for discussion items for which there is a specific paper and proposal from Members or the Secretariat, for which there is advice or a recommendation from a working group, or where our advice is sought by the Commission.

Session 1: 21:00–23:00 UTC
Break: 23:00–23:40 UTC
Session 2: 23:40–01:40 UTC (only a few items will be addressed on Thursday 14 October and the Committee will halt its meeting at 23:00 UTC on that day)

Speakers must log in 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting to perform a soundcheck.
This needs to be done every single day the meeting is running.
