In order to assist CCAMLR Members and their observers in planning observation programs and recording data, the CCAMLR Secretariat, in consultation with the Scientific Committee and its working groups, have revised the Scientific Observers Manual (2011). The Scientific Observer's Manuals for Finfish and Krill Fisheries contain guidance on standard tasks and requirements for observers, as well as supplementary information to aid data collection requirements for toothfish (Dissostichus spp.), mackerel icefish (Champsocephalus gunnari) and Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba) fisheries.
